Accounts Administrator
In early 2023, Tamara joined ARC as the Accounts Administrator. She has financial experience across diverse industries including oil and gas, medical manufacturing, steel manufacturing and now archaeological consulting. From her background growing up in West Texas, she is very aware of the needs of oil and gas technology and operations. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology, focusing on the petroleum industry from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2015. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the SMU Cox School of Business and is a recipient of the highest merit-based scholarship provided by the university. Her studies focus on business operations and financial management for businesses of all sizes. She is committed to growing her expertise in financial management.
In her current role, Tamara manages the day-to-day finances of the company. She creates annual budgets and business forecasts, assists project managers developing budgets for our large projects, streamlining procedures and protocols for financial reporting, internal auditing, accounts payable and receivables, and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors. As someone with 13 years of financial experience, she enjoys contributing to the company’s continued growth and development.
Tamara enjoys dedicating her free time volunteering as a representative for ARC and as a member of local nonprofit organizations dedicated to historic preservation. While with the North Texas Archeological Society (NTAS), she participates in several archaeological festivals and youth camps. As a member of Texas Archeological Society (TAS), she participates in multiple academies, including Ceramics, Geoarchaeology, Zooarcheology and Osteology, Lithics, and Archeobotany, to deepen her understanding of archaeological practices and contribute to AR Consultants’ business plan. In addition to her involvement with NTAS and TAS, she currently serves as a board member and Treasurer for The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing preservation awareness.
